About the Role:
We are seeking a Front-End Developer to design and build interactive, AI-powered analytics interfaces for an enterprise Investment Data Warehouse (IDW) platform with Generative Business Intelligence (GenBI), AI, and ML capabilities. This role focuses on building production-grade dashboards, chat interfaces, and AI-assisted workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Apply UI/UX design principles to build analytics dashboards and highly interactive reporting experiences
- Build scalable, production-grade user interfaces using React
- Develop AI/GenAI-facing interfaces using Chainlit or Streamlit, including complex state management for real-time updates, loading states, retries, and partial responses
- Implement latency handling and async UX patterns, and design explainable AI interfaces (confidence indicators, sources, disclaimers)
- Build chat interfaces supporting streaming responses and token handling, along with AI-assisted workflows (autocomplete, summarization, recommendations)
- Apply data visualization best practices and human-centered design for interactive storytelling
- Collaborate with backend and architecture teams to ensure UI performance, scalability, and security
- Support knowledge transfer to internal staff
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in front-end UX/UI design for analytics dashboards and highly interactive reporting
- 4+ years of development experience with React, building scalable, highly customized production-grade user interfaces
- 2+ years of front-end development experience with Chainlit or Streamlit for AI/ML or GenAI solutions, including complex state management and data handling
- 2+ years of experience in latency handling, async UX patterns, explainable AI interfaces, and prompt design basics
- 2+ years of hands-on experience building chat interfaces (streaming responses, token handling) and AI-assisted workflows
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS, Snowflake, or BI certifications (Power BI, Tableau); AI/ML or GenAI-related coursework or credentials
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or BI analytics
- 3+ years working with AI/ML or GenAI technologies to design and build solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Snowflake, Azure)
- Practical hands-on experience using OpenAI APIs or similar LLM platforms, building natural language-to-SQL/query systems, and designing prompt strategies for business insights
- Experience developing semantic models supporting natural language querying and AI-driven analytics (GenBI), including statistical analysis, predictive analytics, and optimization
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Work Arrangement:
This position requires onsite work 3 days per week in West Sacramento, CA, with the remainder worked remotely. Schedule is subject to business needs.
Pay: From $55.00 per hour
