Job Overview:
Harbor Fish Market is seeking an experienced Ground fish and Large fish Fish Cutter to join the Production Team at our iconic Custom House Wharf location in Portland. Skilled with using knives and other tools, the fish cutter will meticulously clean and cut fish to supply our retail markets and our wholesale customer.
Responsibilitiles:
*Safely use knives and other tools to cut fish to company standards and specifications.
*Adhere to standard operating procedures for food safety and hygiene.
*Keep work areas clean, organized, and sanitized throughout your shift.
*Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
*Realiability and dependability is required.
Skills and Abilities:
*Strong ability with knife skills and knowledge of fish filleting techniques, however we will train the right candidate.
*Must have weekend availability.
*Must be able to stand for long periods and work in a cold, wet environment.
*Must be able to perform physical tasks including lifting 30+ pounds.
*Must be proficient with the English language.
