American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool position requiring a Missouri or compact RN license along with a Kansas license.

Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool position at a children's hospital

Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
-
Floating required between the main campus and a sister hospital located approximately 12 miles southwest in Overland Park, KS
-
Smoke-free and nicotine-free campus

Accepts local candidates at the same pay rate

Active RN license required at time of consideration, either Missouri or compact license, plus a Kansas RN license (Kansas license may be pending with documentation of application for main campus assignments)

Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (RQI certifications not accepted)

Current AHA PALS certification required

Must pass a medication/dosage competency test with 100% accuracy during the first week, with up to three attempts allowed

Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration

Two professional references required from a supervisor level or higher, completed within the last 12 months

Provide critical care nursing support to pediatric patients across multiple campus locations

Facility conducts nicotine testing as part of its nicotine-free campus policy
