Our La Vista location is a bustling hub, and we're looking for a dedicated Shift Leader to join our team. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take the next step in their career.
Position Overview
As a Shift Leader, you will assist in overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's daily operations, ensuring a smooth service, high food quality, and a well-trained staff. You will work closely with the team to ensure operational excellence, including leading and mentoring staff, managing day-to-day tasks, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Support daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.

Supervise and lead shifts, setting a positive example with a hands-on approach during peak hours.

Assist in hiring, training, and developing team members, including new and part-time staff.

Ensure high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety are maintained at all times.

Monitor and manage staffing schedules, ensuring proper coverage during peak times.

Assist with inventory management, vendor relationships, and ensuring stock is appropriately maintained.

Help resolve customer concerns and operational challenges as they arise.

Collaborate with the General Manager to drive revenue and improve team performance.

Assist in monitoring sales, labor, and food costs to maintain profitability.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations.
What We're Looking For:
We're seeking an organized, dependable, and motivated individual who can handle multiple tasks at once and maintain a positive work environment.
The ideal candidate will have:

1+ years of restaurant management or supervisory experience, preferably in a quick-service or fast-casual setting.

A strong ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a team.

A hands-on, lead-by-example approach to managing staff.

A keen eye for operational efficiency and customer service excellence.

Ability to manage high-volume service, especially during peak times.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Knowledge of inventory management, scheduling, and labor control.
