Facilitates understanding in communication by conducting medical and general interpretation for healthcare providers, patients and their families.

Assesses patient's comprehension of informed consent.

Assists in triage crisis interventions for hard of hearing/deaf patients and their family.

Interprets with highest degree of accuracy and completeness in consecutive, simultaneous and sight translation modes.

Suggests to management referrals of patients and families who could benefit from the assistance of additional patient resources

Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree or experience in lieu of degree
- Experience: 2 years relevant experience
- Licenses/Certifications: Licensed Sign Language Interpreter in the state of practice
