Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily activities that promote infant development, including sensory play, tummy time, and social interaction
- Support infants with basic caregiving needs such as feeding, diapering, and comforting to ensure their safety and well-being
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment by following health and safety protocols
- Observe and document individual infant progress, behaviors, and milestones to inform teaching strategies
- Engage with children through age-appropriate activities that encourage curiosity, exploration, and early learning
- Support classroom management by helping establish routines that promote security and independence among infants
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive, inclusive atmosphere that nurtures each child's unique needs
- Assist in overall cleanliness of the center
Qualifications
- Eligibility to work in the U.S
- Must have reliable transportation
- High School diploma or GED
- Willingness to participate in courses
- Prior experience working with infants or in early childhood education settings such as daycare, preschool, or nannying is preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices for infant care preferred
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not already held
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a caring attitude toward children and families
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain consistent routines in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for working with young children and supporting their early developmental milestones
