Seeking In-Home Early Education Specialists
Job Description:
A Developmental Specialist’s primary responsibility is to provide play-based education and developmental enrichment to infants, ages newborn- 3 years, and their families within a home-based program. Activities include but are not limited to consistent home visits, family education and support, curriculum planning, scheduling, assessment, and play.
Responsibilities:
Provide in home developmental stimulation/educational services to children 0-3 years of age.
Develop a professional relationship with families through coaching and modeling.
Hands on interaction with infants and toddlers that encourages engagement and natural play.
Knowledge of a client’s IFSP (Individualized Family Service Plan) including developmental goals, family concerns, and related health issues.
Plan, prepare, and implement age-appropriate activities as they relate to the child’s outcomes and development.
Maintain weekly schedules and appointments including annual and semiannual reviews, upon service coordinator’s request.
Maintain ongoing developmental reports for each child, keeping records of developmental progress using the DAYC-2.
Maintain open communication with families through verbal feedback, recommendation, and session notes.
Ensure confidentiality of privileged information in compliance with HIPPA.
Maintain adherence to all company policies and procedures.
Complete designated hours as to the best of your ability within the service month.
Attend and participate in all developmental staff meetings and in-service trainings.
Qualifications:
Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree required: Field of study can be Child Development, Psychology, Sociology, Humanities, Behavioral Science, Education, or other related fields.
Experience: Experience working with infants (newborn to 3 years old) is preferred
Training: Extensive training will be provided.
A valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation and a willingness to travel within a 30-mile radius to conduct in-home visits. Drive time and mileage will be reimbursed.
Strong organizational skills and a desire to work with people of different socioeconomic backgrounds.
Bilingual preferred

Compensation:
We offer a highly competitive hourly rate ranging from $27.00-$29.00 per hour based on degree and experience.
Work Hours:
Full Time: Monday-Saturday between 30-40 hours per week
Part Time: Monday-Saturday between 15-25 hours per week
Location:
