Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Licensed Behavior Specialist Consultant to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments to identify client needs and strengths
- Develop, implement, and monitor personalized behavior intervention plans grounded in applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles
- Provide direct behavioral therapy sessions tailored to children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder
- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to track client progress and inform treatment adjustments
- Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare providers to ensure cohesive support strategies
- Maintain accurate medical records, treatment documentation, and HIPAA-compliant records in accordance with privacy regulations
- Conduct intake assessments to evaluate client needs and establish appropriate service plans
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA) methods
- Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and medical documentation practices
- Ability to perform patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations effectively
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Understanding of special education principles and behavioral health strategies
