Qualifications:
Daily responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Developing lesson plans
Meeting the individual needs of the children
Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning
Planning and implementing activities to develop their self-esteem and social skills
Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment
Designing an appropriate room arrangement to support the goals and developmental level of the children in the classroom
Excellent communication skills Communicating with parents and fellow staff
Participating in staff meetings and training
Working as a team with other team members
Committing to continuing education
Shows initiative and professional work ethic
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
CDA or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
Must pass a thorough national and state background check
Experience working with children
Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
Strong written and communication skills
Reliable, dependable and on-time
Energetic, nurturing, have a friendly and caring personality
Professional conduct in a collaborative team environment
CPR/First Aid certification
