Southwest Arkansas Regional Medical Center is in search of an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse for our Rural Health Clinic. Southwest Arkansas Regional Medical Center is a hospital dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare to the Hope, Arkansas community and surrounding areas. We offer a full range of inpatient and outpatient diagnostic services, as well as a 24-hour emergency department, an inpatient geriatric behavioral health unit, physical therapy, inpatient pharmacy services, and a Rural Health Clinic.
Essential Functions:

Perform patient assessments, including vital signs, health histories, and screenings

Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments as prescribed
3
Assist providers with examinations and procedures
4
Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care
5
Document patient interactions and clinical data in electronic health records (EHR)
6
Monitor and manage chronic disease patients in collaboration with care teams
7
Triage patients via phone and in-person to determine urgency and appropriate care
8
Ensure infection control and safety procedures are followed
9
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinic meetings
10
Submit prior authorizations and referrals
11
Coordinate prescription refills
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Skills:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
o
BLS upon Hire
o
Proficiency in using electronic health record systems
o
Ability to work independently and part of a multidisciplinary team
o
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
