Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Lawn and Landscape Supervisor to lead our outdoor maintenance and landscaping teams. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of landscape maintenance crews, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to client specifications
- Coordinate landscaping projects from planning through execution, including construction, planting, irrigation installation, and tree care
- Oversee lawn care routines such as mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and pest control to maintain healthy turf conditions
- Monitor and perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure safety and optimal performance
- Lead safety protocols and training sessions for team members to promote a secure working environment
- Collaborate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide expert recommendations for horticulture solutions
- Manage schedules, assign tasks, and review work quality to uphold company standards of excellence
Skills
- Experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture, and lawn care practices
- Proven supervising experience with strong leadership abilities to motivate and guide teams effectively
- Knowledge of construction techniques related to outdoor projects including hardscaping and irrigation systems
- Familiarity with tree care practices and arboriculture principles
- Ability to troubleshoot issues related to irrigation systems, equipment repairs, and landscape problems
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, team members, and vendors
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in project planning and maintenance routines
