EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position oversees psychological services at the State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Greene and ensures that inmates receive essential mental health care. As a Licensed Psychologist Manager, Corrections, you will perform the following duties: Staff Supervision: Oversee and guide the work of psychological services employeesProgram Leadership: Manage the development and direction of psychological programs within the facilityCommittee Oversight: Lead key committees that review treatment plans and mental health decisionsCompetency Management: Set clinical standards and monitor the effectiveness of psychological testing measuresReport Review: Evaluate diagnostic and progress reports to support accurate treatment planningExpert Consultation: Provide guidance to staff and units regarding mental health treatment needsInterested in learning more?
