JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Assisting clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
* Able to take vitals and record readings in a client logbook.
* Support mobility efforts, including transferring.
* Cooking meals and ensuring dietary requirements are met.
* Light housekeeping to maintain cleanliness.
* Provide transportation to doctor's appointments, errands and activities.
* Offer compassionate, emotional support to clients and their families.
* Responsible and dependable and willing to work as part of a team.
REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Active CNA certification if appropriate or eligibility to transfer certification to New Mexico.
*Proficient in the ability to read, write and communicate in English.
* A minimum of two years of hands-on personal care experience.
* Must be able to lift 25 pounds in order to assist clients safely.
* Specialized training in dementia care or hospice care a plus.
* Current driver's license.

* $20.00 per hour to start.
