Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The Customer Service Representative supports daily logistics operations by providing clear communication, accurate documentation, and exceptional service to internal teams and external partners. This role ensures shipments, orders, and inquiries are handled efficiently and professionally.
- Provide customer support via phone, email, and in-person communication
- Assist with shipment tracking, order updates, and delivery confirmations
- Coordinate with warehouse, transportation, and operations teams to resolve issues
- Enter and update data in logistics systems with accuracy
- Prepare basic reports, shipment notes, and documentation
- Support problem-solving for delayed, damaged, or missing freight
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor with all partners
- Uphold company policies, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer proficiency (email, spreadsheets, data entry)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced logistics environment
- Attention to detail and strong follow-through
- Previous logistics or customer service experience preferred
- Must have a valid ID or work permit.
- Must take a drug screen. (Excludes marijuana)
- 7-year background check for violent crime, sex offenses, and larceny.
