Controller
This position is for two locations, one in Harleysville and one in Lansdale, PA.
Duties:
- Oversee the daily accounting operations of the company
- Manage and supervise the accounting team
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Develop and monitor budgets, including variance analysis and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits
- Stay up-to-date with accounting standards and changes in regulations
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in account reconciliation, debits, credits, and double-entry bookkeeping
- Experience in budgeting and forecasting
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., IFRS)
- Ability to analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools/software
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
