Overview:
Join our team in our new Las Vegas Shop, close to the airport as a skilled Class A/B Diesel Mechanic specializing in diesel engine repair. This is a busy new GSC maintenance shop, and we are seeking mechanics to aid in operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our equipment and vehicles. We are looking for a dedicated individual with a passion for diesel diagnostics and mechanical knowledge.
Responsibilities:
Duties:
- Oversee daily operations of the garage, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient processes.
- Manage inventory and stock levels, including ordering and restocking as needed.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and market presence.
- Train and supervise staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop environment.
- Conduct diesel diagnostics to identify and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles and heavy equipment.
- Suspend, transmit, and fabricate parts as needed to ensure proper functioning.
- Operate heavy equipment when required.
- Utilize electrical skills to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mechanic with expertise in automotive diagnostics and mechanical repairs.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment safely.
- Strong electrical skills to diagnose and repair electrical systems.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation is a plus.
