Responsibilities
- Create a warm, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support children's development
- Encourage social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom
- Follow Ohio licensing regulations and Noah's Ark policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's day and development
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience working with young children preferred
- CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, or related experience is a plus
- Ability to pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude
- A genuine love for children and a desire to help them succeed
