Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders with enthusiasm and accuracy
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales, handle cash register operations, and manage retail sales transactions efficiently
- Prepare simple food items or assist in food preparation to ensure timely service
- Upsell menu items by recommending popular or new offerings to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including food handling areas, dining spaces, and kitchen equipment, adhering to sanitation standards
- Manage customer orders with precision using food service customer order management techniques
- Process cash transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with integrity
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong food handling skills with an understanding of food safety management and sanitation practices
- Excellent time management skills to serve customers efficiently during busy periods
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively when needed
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and making change accurately
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed
