Alabama-Wyoming based law firm seeks family law paralegal
About you: You’re excited to work closely with and support our Birmingham-based family law attorney. You take satisfaction in getting it exactly right. You pay attention to fonts, formatting, and the proper way to use Styles in Microsoft Word. You’re organized. You have an appreciation for the complexities of family law, where no two cases are ever alike and each matter presents unique legal, factual, and interpersonal challenges.

About us:
- We do complex, often high asset divorce work in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, but our attorney is based in Birmingham. We’re looking for someone to work in-person with our attorney and support a mostly remote legal practice.

Duties:
- Client calls
- Gathering and organizing documents and data from clients
- Preparing routine legal documents
- Calendaring deadlines
- Drafting correspondence
- Answering phone calls
- Assisting with billing
Requirements:
- Previous US family law firm experience, or similar experience
Preferences
- Familiarity with Clio
- Demonstrated track record of excellent client communication
Terms:
- W2 employee, salary target of $55,000
- 401K match

- Three weeks PTO year
