Swing Shift Embroidery Machine Operator
Silver Screen Decoration & Fulfillment Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (Weekends as needed) Job Type: Full-time Pay Range: $18–$19/hr to start, based on experience and meeting productivity goals
About the Role Silver Screen Decoration & Fulfillment is expanding our day shift embroidery team. We’re hiring skilled, reliable operators who take ownership of quality, productivity, and on-time completion of daily production schedules.
Core Responsibilities
- Accurately check in product against work orders and job tickets
- Set up and program embroidery machines from written and verbal instructions
- Operate embroidery equipment to company procedures and quality standards
- Troubleshoot embroidery issues and make machine adjustments to protect decoration quality, garment integrity, and production efficiency
- Execute proper hooping and stabilizer techniques
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Meet daily production targets and support on-time shipment of orders
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional embroidery machine operation (preferred, but willing to train the right candidate)
- Tajima, Barudan, and/or Melco experience strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of hooping and stabilizer processes (hooping board a plus)
- Ability to independently troubleshoot production and quality issues
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to stand up to 8 hours per shift
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly
- Prior production or warehouse experience preferred
What Success Looks Like in 90 Days
- Reliable, on-time attendance with consistent productivity throughout the shift
- Works cooperatively with teammates and contributes to a positive floor culture
- Demonstrates flexibility and initiative in learning new machines, tasks, and processes
- Uses downtime productively (assisting teammates, staging work, prep, 5S/cleanup)
- Consistently completes assigned daily schedules while meeting quality standards
- Willing and available to support overtime during peak periods, including some Saturdays
