JOB SUMMARY:
Parker Aerospace is looking for a Quality Technician to support manufacturing operations. The person will inspect parts, identify quality issues, review documentation, and work with suppliers and internal teams to resolve problems.
- RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect incoming and in-process parts for quality issues.
- Identify and resolve quality problems that may affect production.
- Review blueprints, drawings, specifications, and quality documents.
- Support nonconforming material and containment activities.
- Assist with First Article Inspections (FAI) and PPAP documentation.
- Help review and validate corrective actions.
- Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues.
- Support customer returned material activities.
- Work closely with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and other departments.
- Participate in problem-solving, Kaizen, continuous improvement, and 5S activities.
- Assist with training and knowledge sharing when needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or higher.
- 2–3 years of experience in Quality, Inspection, Supplier Quality, or Manufacturing.
- Aerospace or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience using inspection and measurement tools.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of GD&T / ANSI Y14.5 preferred.
- Basic knowledge of shop mathematics and trigonometry.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Basic Microsoft Office experience.
- Ability to pass visual acuity and color perception requirements.
- Must meet applicable U.S. Export Compliance and U.S. Government Contracting citizenship eligibility requirements.
PREFERRED BACKGROUND:
- Quality Inspection, Supplier Quality, Quality Assurance, Aerospace Manufacturing, or Manufacturing Quality experience.
