Taft, FL | Fuel Tank Driver
Eagle Transport operates terminals throughout the eastern United States, specializing in the transportation of fuel, chemical, and dry bulk products. As our team expands in the Southeast, we are looking to hire experienced Class A drivers for local roles in Taft, FL.
Fuel Truck Drivers with Eagle Transport ensure the safe transportation of petroleum products to various locations in the surrounding areas while adhering to DOT regulations, corporate policies, and company protocols.
Job Duties
- Complete dispatched loads of petroleum products by picking up from the rack and safely delivering to customer stores and facilities, ensuring that all deliveries are timely and accurate.
- Manage all aspects of safe truck operation according to DOT regulation Eagle Company policies and safety protocols.
- Accurately prepare and complete all required equipment and delivery reports.
- Work closely with dispatch and other team members to optimize delivery routes and schedules
Requirements
- Be at least 23 years of age.
- Have a valid Class A CDL with tanker (N) and hazmat (H) endorsement (Combination X), and the ability to operate a vehicle with air brakes.
- Have a minimum of 1 year commercial driving experience with a tractor-trailer
- No more than two (2) moving violations in the past three (3) years
- Have no chargeable "DOT-Recordable" accidents while driving a commercial vehicle in the past three (3) years.
- Ability to read, speak and understand the English Language
