We currently have a position open for a Turbine Engine Technician at Prime Turbines, Mesa, AZ location.
JOB PURPOSE
Turbine Engine Technician – Provides maintenance and repair services to support PT6A Turbine engines and supports PAG Engines facilities as needed.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Job Functions:
- Maintain, inspect, repair and overhaul PT6A engines.
- Read, interpret and complete turbine engine logbooks, along with manuals, diagrams, charts and schematics.
- Disassemble, clean, evaluate, repair and assemble turbine engines.
- Replace or repair worn, defective or damaged components.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Physical Demands:
- Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
- Requires frequent walking, bending, reaching over shoulder level. squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling weight up to 75 pounds.
- Requires repetitive hand movement.
- Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.
- Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
Equipment Operated: Ability to operate hand tooling.
Work Location: Mesa AZ
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must possess FAA Airframe & Power-plant license.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools and measuring instruments necessary to perform job assignments.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
Education/Training:
- High school graduate or higher, with technical Airframe/Powerplant training, achieved through graduation trade school or military aircraft maintenance program are required.
Experience:
- Minimum five (3) years experience in aviation maintenance environment, preferably on PT6A series turbine engine.
Certificates/Licenses: FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification
