American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Thornton, CO, requiring at least 1 year of acute care L&D experience and active NRP, ACLS, BLS, and fetal monitoring certification.

Labor & Delivery unit (Unit 707) located on the 3rd floor of the main building

Unit includes 14 LDRPs and 2 ORs
-
Patient ratios are 1:1 to 1:2 for Labor & Delivery and 3:1 for Postpartum, per AWHONN guidelines
-
Procedures performed include versions, C-sections, vaginal assisted deliveries, and D&Cs
-
Beacon equipment is used on the unit
-
EMR system is Meditech/CPN; prior Meditech experience is preferred
-
Night shift position: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
-
13-week travel contract
-
Active CO or Compact RN license required
-
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP (Advanced 9th Edition from American Academy of Pediatrics), and Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate or Advanced AWHONN, or NCCEFM)

Minimum 1 year of recent acute care hospital L&D RN experience

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted

One professional reference required

Postpartum experience is highly preferred

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — no local candidates will be considered
