Olde Jaol Steakhouse is entering an exciting period of growth and refinement. While remaining committed to serving exceptional steaks and delivering memorable hospitality, we are transitioning from a traditional steakhouse into a more elevated fine dining experience.
We are seeking polished, professional, and hospitality-driven Servers to join our fine dining steakhouse team. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences through exceptional service, menu expertise, and genuine guest engagement.
Our ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, thrives in an upscale environment, and takes pride in delivering attentive, personalized service. You will guide guests through our steakhouse menu, make thoughtful recommendations, and ensure every detail of the dining experience exceeds expectations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare dining areas with meticulous attention to cleanliness, presentation, and detail
- Welcome and engage guests in a warm, professional manner
- Present menus and provide knowledgeable recommendations regarding steaks, wines, and specialty offerings
- Accurately take and deliver food and beverage orders
- Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive service throughout the dining experience
- Recommend wine pairings, appetizers, side dishes, desserts, and premium menu enhancements
- Collaborate closely with hosts, bussers, food runners, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service
- Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Process payments and accurately complete guest transactions
- Maintain a thorough understanding of menu offerings, preparation methods, and daily features
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant serving experience required; fine dining experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service preferred
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to multitask and perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence
