Job Summary
We are looking for a Sales Player/Coach to support and provide continued leadership in maximizing our sales team’s performance. Sales Player/Coach responsibilities include mentoring new and existing sales staff. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of sales techniques and the ability to motivate employees of varying seniority. Ultimately, you will help our team develop their skills and achieve results.
Responsibilities Include:
- Initiate daily check-ins with Sales Team
- Provide weekly check-ins with sales leadership on team performance and provide ongoing support to the sales management team as needed
- Accompany sales reps on ride-a-longs and provide constructive feedback sessions with each sales team member
- Monitor sales performance and address issues when necessary. This includes accurately documenting sales appointments to identify positive and negative trends.
- Track key performance indicators such as NSLI and closing percentage
- Collaborate with General Managers on strategies, provide input on current and future training, and identify current and future market trends
- Contribute to the recruitment and selection process for new hires and assist in training new members of the sales team
- Advocate for sales staff
- Participate in monthly onsite training sessions and inspire and support the team
- Complete sales reports and other administrative work
- Sell products and services as an individual or team contributor (aid sales staff in negotiation and closing appointments)
- Meet or exceed his/her personal projected monthly NSLI
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of one year in the field in sales, production, or service with extensive knowledge of products and installation procedure including the design protocols of the company
- Demonstrated knowledge of sales, marketing, and/or customer service principles and practices
- Proficient in crafting solutions for homeowners
- Can easily adapt to in learning software
- Ability to give and receive feedback in all areas of work
- Openness to learning different sales approaches, as well as a readiness to take on leadership responsibilities
- Embrace growth opportunities and potentially advance to a larger sales leadership role
- Demonstrated successful sales experience in the sales field

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
