Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to join our team at a premier resort. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a memorable experience. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage guest relations effectively.
Duties
- Welcome guests upon arrival and provide a warm and friendly check-in experience.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
- Manage front desk operations, including reservations, check-ins, and check-outs.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions in the hotel management system.
- Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are balanced and accurate.
- Provide information about local attractions, services, and amenities to enhance the guest experience.
- Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when responding to calls or making reservations.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction throughout their stay.
- Assist in promoting hotel services and upselling additional offerings to guests.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or guest services is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with front desk operations in a hotel or resort setting is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to assist our diverse clientele effectively.
- Knowledge of hotel management software is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
