- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machining centers to manufacture precision components.
- Machine parts to tight tolerances while meeting quality and production standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
- Perform machine offsets, tooling changes, and basic troubleshooting to maintain production efficiency.
- Verify dimensions using precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and other inspection tools.
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
- Work closely with programmers, engineers, and quality personnel to ensure first-pass success.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Experience with multi-axis CNC machining, including 5-axis machining.
- Experience operating Mazak or similar CNC machining centers.
- Aerospace, medical device, or other high-precision manufacturing experience.
- Knowledge of GD&T and tight-tolerance machining.
- Experience with machine setup, tooling, and offsets.
Level I: $22.00 – $26.00/hour
Level II: $26.00 – $30.00/hour
Level III: $30.00+/hour (DOE)
Shift Differential: Additional $2.00–$4.00/hour depending on shift.
