Job Description:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Directly supervise all students assigned to ASC, ATT, and ATF courses.

Maintain discipline, safety, and cleanliness within the classroom and lab environments at all times.

Monitor student attendance and retention rate.

Follow course outlines and objectives and be able to evaluate and advise students.

Be able to teach assigned classes and to effectively manage the day-to-day operation of the class and shop.

Prepare lesson plans and provide all class lectures, lab, and clinical instruction according to the required curriculum.

Maintain academic and FAA records.
-
Attend all scheduled departmental meetings.

Participate in accurate budget planning and operate within the approved budget.

Stay up-to-date with professional trends in the teaching field and help facilitate continual change that may be required to keep instruction current and relevant.

Complete annual mandatory compliance training.
-
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Aviation.

Job Requirements:

Master's degree in aviation, avionics, aerospace, aeronautics or closely related field OR Master's with at least 18 graduate hours in a combination of qualifying field OR Bachelor's in qualifying field and three years' in-field experience OR Associate's in qualifying field and five years' in-field experience.

Current FAA CFI Pilot Certificate.

Current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.

Prior teaching experience preferred.

Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
All degrees must be from a regionally-accredited postsecondary institution.
