We're looking for an experienced Commercial Service Electrician who enjoys troubleshooting electrical problems, working independently, and delivering exceptional customer service.
This role is ideal for someone who can confidently diagnose issues, recommend solutions, complete repairs efficiently, and represent B&B Electric professionally in occupied commercial facilities.

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and diagnose commercial electrical systems.
- Perform electrical repairs, maintenance, and service work.
- Install, repair, and replace electrical panels, breakers, disconnects, receptacles, switches, lighting fixtures, transformers, and related equipment.
- Perform LED lighting upgrades and retrofit projects.
- Complete preventive maintenance inspections.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications.
- Document work performed, materials used, and recommendations using company software.
- Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, and office staff.
- Maintain accurate job documentation, photos, and material usage.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and company image.
- Follow OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements.
- Participate in a rotating after-hours emergency service schedule as business needs require.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of commercial electrical experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable personal vehicle for travel to and from job sites (company vehicle may be provided in the future).
- Own basic hand tools required for commercial service work.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and work from ladders.
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical drawings.
- Professional communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable using smartphones or tablets for work orders, timekeeping, photos, and communication.
- Dependable, organized, and punctual.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Nevada Journeyman Electrician Card.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification.
- Experience working in occupied commercial buildings.
- Experience with lighting controls and energy-efficient lighting systems.
- Experience with emergency service work.
- Familiarity with Knowify, ServiceTitan, Procore, or similar field service software.
