Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can explore, learn, and grow. Duties
- Implement our engaging curriculum plans tailored to toddler age groups, incorporating literacy education, early intervention strategies, and foundational math concepts.
- Provide attentive toddler care by ensuring safety, hygiene, and comfort at all times.
- Manage classroom activities with effective behavior management techniques to promote positive social interactions.
- Utilize classroom management skills to organize daily routines, activities, and transitions smoothly.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children’s progress, milestones, and any concerns in a clear and compassionate manner.
- Incorporate child development instruction principles to support each child's individual growth needs.
- Follow mandated reporting laws diligently to ensure child welfare and safety are maintained at all times.
- Maintain accurate documentation of children’s progress and classroom activities in compliance with licensing standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive team environment focused on continuous improvement in early childhood education practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting, especially with toddlers.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, including special education and early intervention techniques.
- Demonstrated classroom experience with toddler care, classroom management, and behavior management strategies.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education for young children.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; knowledge of mandated reporting laws is essential.
- Experience teaching literacy education, math concepts, and physical activities to young learners is preferred.
- Ability to create a nurturing environment that promotes child welfare and developmental progress.
- Strong organizational skills for managing classroom routines and documentation requirements.
