Duties:
1. Review Multi-Bill of Material list and apply Bottleneck analysis skill to find gap item.
2. Use forecast module (Quantitative methods, example: time series and seasonal trend) to predict future usage and bring material into inventory.
3. Use integrated application suite consisting of enterprise resource planning software JD Edwards ERP (enterprise resource planning) system.
4. Use global logistics, procurement, and risk management knowledge to coordinate inbound supply chain activities (focusing on suppliers and manufacturers) to ensure material availability and meet customer needs.
5. Use SWOT analysis to evaluate suppliers and negotiation to optimize the cost of raw materials by attending new product launch workshops to gain first-hand knowledge of emerging products and their specifications as well as cooperating with the business and marketing departments to obtain useful market information such as: customers’ expected buying prices and competitors' selling prices.
