Job Summary
Spero Counseling Services is a private mental health practice who is committed to providing hope to families by supporting children, teens, adults, couples and families. We are actively seeking fully licensed or provisionally licensed mental health professionals to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health counseling and support, particularly focusing on adults and couples.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Provide therapy sessions
- Utilize evidence-based practices and interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress in accordance with ICD-10 standards.
Skills
- Strong background in mental health counseling.
- Ability to utilize ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation and billing processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a compassionate approach to client interactions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
- Ability to practice independently
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Mental Health
- Fully licensed
Preferred requirements:
LMFT or a focus on systems work
able to work some evenings and/or weekend
This is a contract position, which allows a flexible schedule, administrative support so you can focus solely on therapy, and more independence in your case load.
