QUALIFICATIONS:

NH teacher certification in Science (5-8), or proof of eligibility for NH certification

Bachelor’s degree or higher

Experience preferred but not required
EMPLOYMENT TERMS: In accordance with Bartlett Education Association (BEA) contract
REPORTS TO: Principal
JOB SUMMARY: Provide a high-quality education program for social, emotional, and intellectual growth of all students in which they reach their full potential.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create an environment of respect and rapport that establishes a culture of learning

Demonstrate knowledge of content areas and child development

Plan and deliver instruction based upon student needs and District curriculum

Manage classroom procedures and student behavior

Assess and monitor student progress on learning standards to inform instruction

Communicate with students and families about learning activities and progress

Collaborate with JBES and SAU9 educators to enhance best practices
-
Implement 504 and IEP accommodations and modifications to meet student need
-
Reflect on teaching practices and participate in ongoing professional growth

Demonstrate professionalism and maintain accurate records

Follow District policies and procedures
-
Complete other duties as assigned by the principal
EVALUATION: Performance will be evaluated by the principal or designee in accordance with District evaluation procedures.
