Job Title: Food Server
Reports to: Food & Beverage Manager
Location: Haggin Oaks Golf Course
Rate of Pay: $16.90 hr + Tips
FLSA Status: hourly, non-exempt, part time
Position Overview
Morton Golf is looking for a Server/Cashier who will be an essential part of our restaurant team by providing outstanding customer service to our guests. This dual role encompasses taking orders, serving food and drinks, processing payments, and ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide them with the menu information and daily specials.
- Take orders accurately and communicate with kitchen staff effectively.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring all guests' needs are met.
- Process payments, handle cash and credit transactions with accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining and cashier areas.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server, or in a similar role in the food and beverage industry preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
- Must have a valid food handler's certificate or the willingness to obtain one upon hire.
- Flexibility to work 3 - 5 shifts per week, including weekends and holidays as needed.
