Position Overview
NurseAmerica is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for an exciting travel opportunity in the Pittsburgh area, Pennsylvania. This position is ideal for a highly skilled perioperative nurse who thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment and is comfortable working with a wide variety of complex surgical cases.
The ideal candidate will possess strong circulating and scrub experience and demonstrate expertise in trauma, orthopedic, neurological, vascular, robotic, and general surgical procedures.
Requirements

Active RN License (Compact Accepted)
-
BLS Certification (AHA)
-
Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience within the last 3 years (3 years preferred)

Minimum 1 year of Level I Trauma experience within the last 3 years
-
Minimum 1 year of recent travel nursing experience within the last 3 years
-
Strong circulating and scrub experience required

One professional reference within the last 36 months
-
No employment gaps exceeding 90 days in work history

Previous permanent employees of the facility are not eligible

Scheduling Information

Rotating shifts including days, evenings, and nights

Call required on weekdays and weekends

Weekend call may include Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday

Up to 3 weekend call shifts during a 6-week schedule period

Call response time: 30 minutes
