Atlanta-based defense contractor is seeking a full time Project Manager at the Service James J Rowley Training Center, located in Laurel, MD. This position provide oversight of construction-related activities for contracts. Support COR by performing all project management tasks. Provide the day-to-day project management for construction and service projects.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordination with customers, schedule review, and design review.
- Develop solutions to construction problems or existing conditions encountered in the field.
- Review contractor submittals for contract conformance.
- Aid the contracting officer or COR throughout the acquisition phases of the project to include answering offerors questions; attending/participating in site orientation visits; attending/participating in joint contractor/government meetings.
- Draft technical responses to any change orders.
- Prepare statement of work and cost estimate for new contracts and contract modifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or at least 5 years experience relevant to the PWS.
- At least 4 years in a project management role.
