The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a large residential portfolio made up of several nearby buildings. This role requires a strong leader who can effectively manage multiple buildings, supervise onsite staff, maintain high operational standards, and ensure the community is operating efficiently. The ideal candidate will be organized, hands-on, professional, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee the daily operations of several residential buildings within the portfolio
- Supervise, support, and develop onsite staff
- Handle employee relations matters, including coaching, mentoring, performance management, and attendance oversight
- Maintain strong resident relations and respond to concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Oversee community communications and support resident satisfaction initiatives
- Coordinate with maintenance teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure the buildings are well maintained
- Walk buildings and vacant units regularly to assess property and operational needs
- Schedule and attend required inspections
- Review and code bills appropriately
- Coordinate unit turns, make-readies, and move-out processes
- Complete and analyze weekly and monthly reports as required
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety expectations, and legal requirements
- Respond to emergencies and be available to work weekends or on call when needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of property management experience
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience, including oversight of 10 or more employees, strongly preferred
- Experience overseeing large residential communities or multiple buildings strongly preferred
- Proven ability to manage staff in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Strong leadership, organizational, and follow-through skills
- Excellent customer service and resident relations skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred due to regular communication with Spanish-speaking staff
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
- Familiarity with Yardi software is a plus
- Strong working knowledge of building systems is a plus

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
