Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Racker Packer Masker to join our manufacturing team. This role requires a strong attention to detail, ensuring quality and safety standards are met throughout the operation and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Masking: Applying protective masking materials—like tape, plugs, or liquid masks—to specific parts according to customer specs to ensure proper coverage during coating or plating.
- Racking / Un-racking Parts: Hanging or placing parts on racks or hooks before finishing (e.g., powder coating), then removing them post-process. Attention to load balance and maximizing coverage is important.
- Packing: Packaging finished items for shipment—following spec guidelines, using proper dunnage, labeling, checking for defects.

Supportive Tasks:
- Clean and organize work areas.
- Assist with unloading, organizing, and prepping parts.
Typical Requirements & Physical Demands
- Physical Demands: Standing for long periods, repetitive lifting (often up to 50 lbs), bending, stooping, reaching. Must maintain safety around sharp parts, hot surfaces (e.g., ovens), and chemicals.
- Attention to Detail: Critical for correctly masking, racking, detecting defects, and following customer or print specifications.
- Communication & Teamwork: Especially in fast-paced workflows, good coordination with paint booth operators or other production staff is essential.
