Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a strong understanding of beverage preparation, food safety, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations.
- Operate Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order entry and payment processing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items during busy periods.
- Participate in special events such as banquets and catering services as needed.
- Demonstrate knowledge of fine dining service standards and upscale cocktail preparation.
- Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, nightclub, or catering environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience in brewing or knowledge of various beverage types is advantageous.
