We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented clinician to support patients through asynchronous/syncronous care, triage, and follow-up, while ensuring clinical quality and safety in partnership with our AI systems.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care
- Respond to patient messages and deliver care through async chat for appropriate conditions or video visit as needed.
- Collect additional history, clarify symptoms, and provide clinical guidance within established care protocols.
- Manage common primary care conditions, preventive care questions, chronic symptoms, medication refills, and monitoring through messaging-based workflows.
- Document encounters using concise documentation standards.
Triage & Red-Flag Detection
- Identify when patients need escalation to synchronous video visits, urgent care, or emergency services.
- Use universal triage templates and red-flag taxonomy to ensure safe routing.
- Validate AI-generated triage outputs and override or refine recommendations based on clinical judgment.
Review & Execute Clinical Tasks
- Review AI-drafted clinical notes, diagnosis suggestions, care plans, and patient instructions before finalizing.
- Approve or modify AI-generated medication choices, orders, and follow-up recommendations.
- Ensure all orders (labs, imaging, prescriptions) meet clinical, state, and regulatory requirements.
Quality & Clinical Standards
- Maintain adherence to evidence-based guidelines, care pathways, and state practice rules.
- Participate in quality audits of AI outputs, documentation, and patient interactions.
- Provide structured feedback to product and clinical leadership when AI models need refinement.
Who You Are
Required
- Physician (MD/DO) with > 5 years of clinical experience
- Licensed to practice in all 50 states + DC
- Strong primary care or urgent care background
- Excellent communicator with strong documentation habits
- Tech-forward, adaptable, and excited about AI in healthcare
Nice to Have
- Prior telehealth experience
- Startup experience or desire to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Interest in clinical informatics, AI workflows, or product design
- Prior exposure to triage protocols, symptom pathways, or risk stratification tools.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: Up to $200.00 per hour
