Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience
- Assist customers in selecting products, offering detailed product demos and explaining features clearly
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions
- Upsell complementary products by identifying customer needs and promoting relevant items to increase sales
- Maintain merchandising standards by arranging displays, and ensuring the store looks clean, appealing and organized
- Conduct stock checks and assist with merchandising plans to optimize product placement
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
Skills
- Proven experience with POS system
- Strong supervisory skills with previous supervising experience in retail settings
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions, discounts, and inventory management
- Exceptional communication skills
- Skilled in conducting product demos to educate customers about features and benefits effectively
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management practices
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences
- Familiarity with phone etiquette standards for professional remote communication
- Ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a friendly approach
- Basic math skills necessary for daily retail operations including sales calculations and cash handling
