WestLift, LLC is an authorized dealer and service provider for Tailift Forklifts. As a family-owned and operated company, we provide equipment sales, service, rentals, and parts support to customers throughout Eastern North Carolina.
The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for generating revenue through the sale of new and used material handling equipment while developing long-term customer relationships within an assigned territory. This position requires a motivated, competitive sales professional with a strong hunter mentality who can identify opportunities, create solutions, and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities within an assigned sales territory.
- Sell new and used material handling equipment represented by WestLift, LLC.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Collaborate with the Service, Parts, Rental, and Administrative departments to provide complete customer solutions.
- Work closely with the Sales Manager to develop territory management strategies and account growth plans.
- Implement aggressive prospecting activities, including cold calls, site visits, networking, referrals, and follow-up activities.
- Create customized business plans for key accounts to maximize customer satisfaction, equipment utilization, and profitability.
- Maintain accurate customer records and activity tracking within the company CRM system.
- Prepare and present equipment proposals, quotations, and financing options to customers.
- Conduct equipment demonstrations and customer presentations.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities.
- Attend company meetings, training programs, trade shows, and industry events as required.
- Meet or exceed all monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
Performance Expectations
The Territory Sales Manager is expected to:
- Achieve established monthly sales targets for new and used equipment.
- Generate consistent new customer growth within the assigned territory.
- Maintain a high level of prospecting activity and customer engagement.
- Develop strategic account plans for key customers.
- Demonstrate professionalism and responsiveness in all customer interactions.
- Accurately maintain CRM records and sales pipeline data.
- Contribute to the overall growth and profitability of WestLift.
Qualifications
- Previous outside sales experience preferred.
- Experience in material handling, industrial equipment, construction equipment, agriculture, transportation, or related industries preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Proven ability to build relationships and close sales opportunities.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other business applications.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
