What Makes This Position Different
This is a fully private, newly renovated fitness studio—not a large commercial gym. There are no locker rooms, large shower facilities, or heavy-duty cleaning requirements. The facility is well-maintained, organized, and designed to provide a premium experience for our clients.
Cleanliness is one of the cornerstones of the experience. We view cleanliness as an extension of our hospitality and client experience, and the person in this role is an important member of the team that helps maintain those standards.
Our clients consistently comment on the appearance, cleanliness, and attention to detail throughout the facility, and maintaining that standard is an important part of our brand. This is not a "clean it quickly and move on" environment—we value thoroughness, consistency, and pride of workmanship.
Because of that, we're looking for someone who enjoys creating spaces that feel polished, welcoming, and cared for. Success in this role comes from noticing the details others overlook, taking ownership of your work, and understanding that the environment you maintain directly contributes to our clients' experience.
The scope of work is straightforward and manageable, allowing you to focus on quality and attention to detail rather than high-volume cleaning tasks. In addition to cleaning duties, there is a small amount of laundry each visit, typically limited to folding and organizing one load of clean hand towels and bath towels. Our staff handles much of the laundry throughout the week, so this is generally a minor part of the role.
This position is ideal for someone seeking reliable supplemental income who enjoys independent work and takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and professional environment. While the hours are flexible and the facility is relatively low-maintenance, the standards are high, and the right person will play an important role in helping us deliver the level of quality our clients have come to expect.
Qualifications
- Previous cleaning, housekeeping, hospitality, or facility maintenance experience preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, lifting, standing, and regularly moving fitness equipment and accessories as part of the cleaning process. Thorough cleaning requires repositioning benches, mats, dumbbells, kettlebells, and other equipment. Assistance can be provided when heavier equipment or free weights need to be repositioned.
Who Will Succeed Here
The ideal candidate notices the details others miss. You take pride in your work, are trustworthy and dependable, and enjoy leaving a space spotless. We value professionalism, consistency, and a strong sense of ownership over the quality of your work.
If you enjoy working independently and helping maintain a premium environment, we'd love to hear from you.
