Member Duties : Minimum Time Learning mentors serve a minimum of 300 hours, or on average 12 hours per week. Learning mentors are paired with specific students and for each student in their portfolio, and will conduct up to four (4) 30 minute Learning Mentorship sessions per day, up to 5 days per week during the school year. The member may conduct small group (2-4 students) student support sessions as needed. LMs will create and maintain a Learning Engagement Plan for each student in their portfolio. LMs will compile and track student data including goals, progress and skill attainment. The LEP will include observational data from members, site staff, and from student input. LMs will use data from LEPs to plan future session activities based on skill and concept sequencing. Members are required to participate in pre-service and on-going training sessions, and days of service throughout their year of service.
