College Cubbies is a student storage and shipping startup serving campuses across Southern California. This fall we're launching at USC, Chapman, and Pepperdine, and we're hiring friendly, outgoing people (18+) to represent us during freshman move-in week.
What you'll do:
Station near the freshman dorms and hand out free College Cubbies whiteboards to students. Hand flyers and coupons to parents. Be welcoming and answer simple questions about what we do. Optional: help capture photo and video content for our social channels (same pay).
Details:
Pay is $20/hr, paid through W-2 payroll. Dates are August 16-19, 2026, with multiple shifts available (Chapman is Aug 18; Pepperdine is Aug 17-18; USC is Aug 16-19). All materials are provided, including shirt, whiteboards, brochures, and coupons. No experience necessary; we provide training.
Who we're looking for:
You must be 18 or older, reliable, punctual, and comfortable approaching and talking to people. You need to be available during move-in week and able to get to campus. Current college students are preferred but NOT required. Recent high school graduates, community college students, and local young people are all welcome to apply.
Why it's worth it:
This is not just one weekend. We hire ongoing campus marketing help throughout the year, including tabling, orientation events, club fairs, and move-out season in May. Strong performers move into campus lead roles working directly with our marketing team.
