Market Development Executive - DFW West
CFO Selections is seeking a relationship-driven Market Development Executive to expand our presence across Fort Worth and the western North Texas market. This role is built for an experienced business developer who enjoys being in the market, building trusted executive relationships and creating opportunities through thoughtful outreach, networking and referral partnerships.
What You Will Do
- Develop new relationships with privately held businesses, owners and senior executives across the assigned territory.
- Build and deepen referral relationships with bankers, CPAs, attorneys and other trusted business advisors.
- Create qualified meetings through targeted outreach, introductions, market events and consistent follow-up.
- Listen for finance and business-management needs, connect those needs to the right internal resources and help advance opportunities through discovery.
- Maintain an organized territory plan, accurate CRM activity and a visible pipeline of next steps and opportunities.
- Represent the firm professionally at local events, association meetings, client meetings and one-on-one relationship-building activities.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven B2B business development or relationship-management experience with executive-level customers or referral partners.
- A consultative style that combines initiative, curiosity, listening and strong follow-through.
- Confidence engaging business owners and senior leaders without relying on a scripted sales approach.
- Established familiarity with the Fort Worth / West DFW business community; an existing local network is highly valued.
- Business and financial acumen sufficient to recognize when a company may benefit from senior accounting or finance support.
- Comfort with local travel and a field-oriented schedule. Ideal candidates live within approximately 25 miles north or south of ZIP code 76102.
