Join our dynamic educational team as a Middle School Science & Math Teacher, where you will inspire students to think critically, solve problems, and develop a love for learning. In this role, you will teach middle school science and mathematics, lead engaging elective courses, and may have the opportunity to teach high school math based on experience and qualifications. We are looking for an educator who values hands-on learning, builds meaningful relationships with students, and is committed to helping each child reach their full potential in a supportive, Christ-centered environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in middle school science and mathematics that align with curriculum standards.
- Foster inquiry-based, hands-on learning experiences that encourage critical thinking and real-world application.
- Teach one or more elective courses based on your interests, experience, and school needs.
- Potentially teach high school mathematics courses, depending on qualifications.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic needs and learning styles of students.
- Utilize educational technology and a variety of instructional strategies to enhance student engagement.
- Monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments and adjust instruction as needed.
- Establish and maintain a positive, respectful classroom culture with effective classroom management practices.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, administrators, and families to support student success and academic growth.
- Maintain accurate records of student achievement and communicate regularly with parents regarding progress.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or a related field (teaching certification preferred but not required).
- Strong knowledge of middle school mathematics and science concepts.
- Ability to teach high school mathematics is highly desirable.
- Experience teaching in a classroom setting is preferred.
- Excellent classroom management and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to create engaging, hands-on learning experiences that foster curiosity and problem-solving.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with educational technology and digital learning tools.
- Passion for working with middle school students and encouraging both academic and personal growth.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to the school community through electives, projects, and school events.

Pay: $20.00 - $64,585.44 per hour
