Responsibilities
- Operate laundry machines and equipment efficiently to process linens, towels, uniforms, and guest items with precision and care
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry items according to established standards and procedures
- Perform cleaning duties on laundry equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Handle special requests such as dry cleaning or delicate item care with attention to detail
- Maintain accurate records of laundry cycles, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance schedules
- Ensure all laundry areas are kept clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with hotel staff to prioritize urgent or special laundry needs promptly and professionally
Qualifications
- Proven experience in laundry operations or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, ironing, and dry cleaning processes
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control in linen presentation and cleanliness
- Ability to operate commercial laundry machinery safely and effectively
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of cleaning standards and safety protocols within hospitality settings
