Are you an experienced Emergency Veterinarian (DVM) looking to join a thriving, well-established emergency hospital? The Animal Emergency Center (AEC) of the Quad Cities is seeking a full-time and/or part-time Emergency Veterinarian to join our collaborative team of five doctors as we continue to grow.
Located just blocks from the scenic Mississippi River in Bettendorf, Iowa, our state-of-the-art emergency veterinary hospital has been serving pets and their families since 1999. We proudly provide emergency and critical care services to a population of more than 400,000 people while partnering with over 35 referring veterinary practices throughout the Quad Cities region.
What You'll Do

Diagnose and treat emergency and critical care patients.

Perform emergency surgeries and medical procedures.

Develop treatment plans and communicate with pet owners.

Collaborate with a skilled team of veterinarians and veterinary support staff.

Deliver compassionate, high-quality emergency veterinary care.
Schedule
Full-Time

Average of 9-11 shifts per month

Includes a combination of evenings, weekends, and holidays
Part-Time

Average of 4-5 shifts per month

Qualifications
-
DVM or equivalent veterinary degree
-
Eligible for veterinary licensure in Iowa

Emergency experience is preferred but motivated veterinarians with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply
